ABOUT

The imagination knows no borders, nor does the heart.

Or how else should a

business / psychology student born in the Rocky Mountains end up an award-winning artist in the Alps?

LITTLE BEAUTIFUL HEARTSTOPPERS

April - June, September - October 2023

St Peters Stiftskulinarium, Salzburg

Babyface, Cupcake, Sweetheart, Tootsie, Sunflower, Sugar, Angel, Darling, Sunshine, Coco, Love Muffin — all affectionate nicknames for beautiful and treasured women. In her latest body of work, Adrienne Egger explores the women that inhabit these names and vice versa, the timeless beauties that have defined these names for decades. Elements of vintage photos, film scenes, and Ai renderings create a backdrop for a visual story in which the viewer decides the storyline.  The questions that remain are who is this woman, what is she thinking and feeling, and why do I feel drawn to her beauty? Like shouting out into the universe and receiving an answer from our human stream of consciousness, the answers seem, surprisingly, to be answered in the Ai rendered song lyrics to the keyword nickname search below:

She's like a wildflower in the wind

A dazzling showstopper with a smile to win

My heart skips a beat when I think of her

All my worries just disappear

Femmobility

VISUAL STORYTELLING

Femmobility began as dream.

As Alexandra Reinagl, the first female director of the Wiener Linien (Vienna's public transportation company), called and asked if I would like to hold the first-ever special exhibition in their transportation museum, the answer was YES!

The theme? A topic dear to Reinagl's heart: women and mobility. I put an enormous amount of research into finding women who have made history - women who inspire us still today - and into turning those stories into visually compelling images with a groundbreaking, innovative use of materials.

Today, the Wiener Linien is proud to have 3 women as directors, the most of any other public transportation company in the world. And I am proud to have been the first artist to exhibit in the historical - and still operating - hall of the Remise Transportation Museum.
